LUCIE DĚDIČOVÁ
Good things take time, Better things take a little longer. (Sanhita Baruah, The Art of Healing: Notes for Life)
Lucie is a Certified and Devoted PortDeBras™ and Pilates Instructor (Matwork & Reformers), PortDeBras™ Educator and Lifelong Learner.
Along with her background knowledge and training in Pilates, functional fitness, barre classes, yoga and healthy spine principles, the PortDeBras™ technique is how she has chosen to spread the principles of fluid, functional and elegant movement with others. She describes it as moving meditation intended to simultaneously heal and strengthen the body and the mind.
In the past, she worked as a coach of hip hop teams (juniors, seniors) and cheerleading teams. As a little child she was a gymnast, tried to become a ballet dancer but she ended up mainly teaching and competing in aerobics having more than satisfying results.
To her, movement is an obsession. She can’t get enough of it nor can she live without it. It’s all-encompassing and represents passion and self-expression. It’s what gets her up in the morning to chase after her two boys. Similar to a good meal, the joy of movement is meant to be shared and communicated with others.
Her approach to teaching is simple: be direct, friendly and empathetic. She is a true believer in a strong female alliance. She encourages and supports women to discover and not be afraid of uncovering their uniqueness and beauty through movement. This goes beyond a mission, this is what I was meant to do.
The fact that she went thought a period full of competing among girls, she is more than convinced now that KINDNESS and TIME is what brings women healing either on mental or physiological level. This confirms also a 3-year training "Integrated Trauma" she enrolled.
That is why her motto is "Good Things Time Time".
